Jennifer Mueller is an advocacy communications and media relations professional, freelance writer, and editor with a deep understanding of environmental issues. She has master’s degree in environmental policy from the University of Maryland and an undergraduate degree in environmental science from the University of Massachusetts. Jen specializes in making complicated policy issues accessible to and compelling for the average person.

Jen has spent more than a decade working on environmental and food and water safety issues, much of it on national policy in Washington DC. She is a fast and versatile writer. She’s written and edited fact sheets, newsletters, and press releases on a wide variety of environmental and green living topics for Environment America, Food & Water Watch, Washington DC Network for Livable Communities, and U.S. PIRG. Jen wrote for and edited the Food & Water Watch blog for two years. Jen is currently a communications specialist for the Nature Conservancy.
